DOTA 2003
In 2003 we built our first dome. DOTA members collaborated to bring it about and LVT Dave made it right in his garage. Having our 30' diameter dome really helped DOTA create a presence on the Esplanade and gave our camp a more beautiful face as we adorned it with the eyes of Buddha and hand sewn prayer flags, in keeping with that year's theme, Beyond Belief.
Marc brought his friends from Madison, WI and a beautiful art bus, Spinflight which was topped with a huge corkscrew kite which Mar had sewn. It was an amazing treat to share the burn together from the top of the bus.
By now we had doubled in size and we grew closer as a phamily. Bonds that could not be broken were growing stronger and stronger.
