2006 was a breakout year for DOTA. A stronger collaboration with our sister camp, OBOP, brought us 24/7 electricity and a combined face for the Esplanade. We shared generator, clean water and grey water technologies, dinners, performance spaces and the throne of God. Music filled our Dome and a new Flailing Zone shade brought happiness to many a wandering Black Rock folk. Our wonderful suppers became a legend among our neighboring camps and we gained new many friendships.
This year our campmate, Little, designed and constructed his work of art, his art car, "Hell's Cargo". Hell's Cargo served as transport vehicle for the airport people, bringing them into the city. Little also graciously gave DOTA campers playa art tours!
